• The Oklahoma School of Science & Mathematics (OSSM) has graduated 775 students in 13 classes, including students from all of Oklahoma's 77 counties.
  
• OSSM seniors have had scholarships in excess of $48 million.
  
• Approximately 60 percent of OSSM graduates attend universities in Oklahoma, in great part due to the fact that 386 students have qualified for Oklahoma Higher Regents Scholarships.
  
• The Classes of 1998 and 2000 had the highest ACT composite of any high school in the nation.
  
• As part of the OSSM outreach program, professors have worked with more than 12,000 math and science teachers from across the state providing workshops and seminars.
  
• Over 3,000 elementary school children have benefited from "math & science are fun" demonstrations provided by the OSSM mathematics, physics, biology and chemistry professors and their students.
  
• Over half of the OSSM students have been from communities with populations of fewer than 10,000.
  
• Dr. Julian Stanley of Johns Hopkins University, a nationally-known expert on gifted education, called the OSSM program "the most rigorous academic program of its kind in the nation." Jim Hunt, former governor of North Carolina (the North Carolina School of Science and Math was the first of its kind under Gov. Hunt’s leadership) told a joint session of the Oklahoma legislature last spring that OSSM is "the best high school – public or private – in the nation."
