• The Oklahoma Health Center Foundation was founded in 1965 with the purpose of enhancing the ability of the Oklahoma Health Center to develop and achieve its academic, research and biomedical commercialization goals.
  
• The Oklahoma Health Center Foundation serves as planner, facilitator and convener for the Oklahoma Health Center organizations.
  
• Currently 28 organizations are members of the Foundation.
  
• The Oklahoma Health Center Foundation supports excellence in all aspects of the Oklahoma Health Center and helps drive its potential to attract and develop biomedical and biotechnical industries in Oklahoma.
  
• The Oklahoma Health Center Foundation also acts as a liaison between the Oklahoma Health Center and the Oklahoma business community to inform Oklahomans on the progress being made in medical technology and discovery.
  
• The Oklahoma Health Center Foundation serves as the spokesman for the larger Oklahoma Health Center community throughout the city, state and nation.
