Amputees Receive Support in Taking Next Step

Amputees' Next Step Support Group , hosted by OU Physicians Orthotics and Prosthetics, will meet on Tuesday, September 12, from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at the O'Donoghue Rehabilitation Institute, 1122 N.E. 13 th Street, Room 252 on the campus of the OU Health Sciences Center.

This group offers a support system for patients and their families throughout the amputation surgery and rehabilitation process.  

The group provides important educational information and resources. Amputees have the opportunity to visit with others who understand the same trials and triumphs and also discover helpful tips for daily activities.
